Although Gomez has surpassed Kylie Jenner on Instagram, Kylie still retains the lead in the beauty world. According to a recent analysis from StyleCraze, Kylie Cosmetics is the most popular celebrity-owned beauty brand worldwide, with Gomez’s rare Beauty in second place.

Rare Beauty launched exclusively at Sephora in 2020, in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Gomez was involved in every step of product development—from testing products to developing designs. At launch, the full line included 14 categories and 150 skus. The debut collection included 48 shades of foundation.
